Craig Robins Collection
"The Sleep of Reason"

The Craig Robins Collection is comprised of over 1500 pieces of contemporary art and innovative design. This multifaceted collection is exhibited at the Dacra headquarters in the Miami Design District, where it rotates annually.

The 2024-2025 rehang of the collection is titled “The Sleep of Reason” based on Francisco de Goya’s “El sueño de la razón produce monstruos”, part of his major print series, Caprichos. This fundamental work anchors a double presentation of works by Kai Althoff and Jana Euler, two artists whose drawings, paintings and sculptures engage with abject imagery, often presenting delirious or complex emotional landscapes in their figuration.

Other highlights on display include recent acquisitions by Jill Mulleady, Mario Ayala, Karon Davis, Bony Ramirez, and Alteronce Gumby. Overall, more than three hundred works on view at Dacra present an expansive overview of figurative art from the last three decades, in tandem with Conceptualist masterpieces by John Baldessari, Joseph Beuys and Richard Tuttle, and design pieces by established favorites such as Jean Prouvé,  Zaha Hadid, Ron Arad, Marc Newson, Maarten Baas and Samuel Ross.
